Through a dedicated nine-year partnership, the Manchester United Foundation uses the power of football to deeply engage and inspire students at Dean Trust Ardwick. Delivered by a dedicated School Partnership Officer, the Foundation provides a comprehensive range of impactful initiatives, including personal development mentoring, targeted mental health and wellbeing interventions, and structured anger management sessions. Beyond pastoral support, the collaboration offers extensive extracurricular activities and recreational clubs—such as competitive school football teams and open lunchtime sports sessions—alongside unique educational enrichment trips, career-focused pathways workshops, and student leadership qualifications. Together, these tailored programmes consistently empower hundreds of students each term, driving tangible improvements in school attendance, positive behavior, resilience, and personal aspirations within the local community.

Building on the school's inclusive culture where young people truly feel they belong, our partnership with RLB delivers a progressive, year-group-tailored career and personal development pathway for students from Year 7 through to Year 11. This collective commitment guides students on a journey from initial inspiration to full career readiness. Throughout their time at Dean Trust Ardwick, students engage in storytelling career talks, interactive "Work Safaris" at RLB offices, LEGO design challenges, and real-world project briefs. As they progress, the initiative provides targeted professional skills workshops—focusing on essential capabilities like public speaking, financial literacy, and CV preparation—alongside dedicated mentoring circles, parental engagement evenings, and exclusive opportunities for work experience and summer internships. Together, this comprehensive support framework empowers our students with the confidence, practical skills, and professional exposure needed to successfully navigate their future pathways.

Through our collaboration with Upriser, Dean Trust Ardwick is delighted to partner with Republic of Media to introduce our pupils to the fast-paced, evolving world of creative and digital careers. This exciting initiative is designed to bridge the gap between education and industry, helping students see first-hand how vital classroom skills such as teamwork, creativity, communication, and problem-solving connect directly to professional roles.
