Our Achievements
Belonging Matters Charter Mark
The Charter Mark is developed from research undertaken by the Bell Foundation which identified four key areas that are important to help newly arrived children to settle quickly and to make progress in schools. The information from the focus group and survey questions have been organised into these four key areas below:
Providing a welcoming and inclusive environment
Assessing new arrivals holistically - considering both academic and mental health needs
Providing ongoing learning and pastoral support
Supporting parents/carers (including hosts and sponsors)

Lead School for Attendance and Behaviour Hubs
We are proud to be a lead school for attendance and behaviour as part of the Behaviour Hub programme, setting high standards that ensure every pupil has the best opportunity to succeed.
Our approach is rooted in consistency, clear expectations, and a strong culture where regular attendance and positive behaviour are central to achievement. Through well-established systems, staff expertise, and a focus on accountability and support within school, we create an environment where pupils can thrive both academically and personally.
As a lead school within the programme, we are committed to sharing best practice and supporting other schools to develop effective, sustainable approaches that improve outcomes for all learners.

“Congratulations to you and your team on the excellent outcomes the disadvantaged pupils at Dean Trust Ardwick achieved at the end of the 2024/25 academic year. Your school’s performance places it among the very best nationally, and this is a significant achievement”.
