Parents can easily manage school meal payments through the MCAS (MyChildAtSchool) app, which links directly to our Bromcom system and catering providers for real-time balance updates and top-ups. For more information on Free school Meals click here

Transport

Our school is highly accessible, with the 192 bus stopping directly outside, providing frequent links to the surrounding areas. For students walking to school, we are situated on a main road with a pedestrian crossing located right outside the school entrance. To ensure our pupils’ safety during the busiest times of the day, this crossing is manned by DTA staff every morning and afternoon.

Important Safety Note on Parking.
To protect the safety of pupils from both Dean Trust Ardwick and St Luke’s Primary School, we strictly ask that parents do not park on Daisy Mill Road.

Why this matters
Congestion on this narrow road creates significant blind spots and hazards for children crossing. We thank you for your cooperation in keeping our entire school community safe.

6. Support & Inclusion

Mrs Garside

Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion
My name is Mrs Garside and I am the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion at DTA. It is my job to make sure that Inclusion is at the heart of everything that we do in school. The Inclusion department is here to support all pupils who have been identified as having a special educational need, or in fact any pupil who may need some extra support to ensure they achieve well.

I am committed to making sure that every young person reaches their potential by ensuring that they not only access a broad curriculum, but develop the skills and attributes to become young adults ready to make a positive contribution to their communities.

The inclusion team are heavily involved with the admission process of all pupils new to the school who may require support to settle in quickly, in addition to supporting current pupils who move to other settings. If you feel that this could be of benefit to your child, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
